Just ended up chucking it in the trash and calling it a day. It is shameful i can not get the refund for it is too late. Can't send the batteries back as already threw the packing in trash.

The bitter coating apparently affects the battery's ability to make good contact in the remote that requires two batteries stacked, one on top of the other. Bought one, was completely dead, used battery tester to verify and compared to current remote ... Read More
