Maybe they wouldnt stand up to heavy daily use but for a weekend warrior type i dont see any need to spend more money on a more expensive set

Yes the coating will scratch off but only if dragging them

Had them for over a year and only scratches happen when i kicked one across the drive way by accident

The only issue i have is there isnt any offset at the ratcheting end so if your bolt is close to a surface you run out of room for your fingers on the wrench
