As with most zippers on duvet covers you do need to pay attention when zipping and unzipping

When constructing they paid attention to certain details that i appreciated such as the large overlap on the back of the shams so your pillow doesnt show and a well hidden zipper hidden so well that it is almost hard to find

I would have given the duvet 5 stars except it isnt long enough to cover a deep pocket mattress
