This little burner is fantastic heats fast and cooks better then my old glass top stove ever did.
The skillet (tawa, as we call it) doesn't heat evenly, and after a while, cooktop fails to maintain the temperature.
I did a hard reset, ie: unplugging all power, return to ac 110v
Price
I wanted something that would run cool, and these devices definitely do that (plus, i didn't want to spend $2k on a new induction stove).
Plenty willing to buy another nuwave there was even a 2 for 1 sale at nuwave website.
Not a good combination when i was introduced to my friend's $3500 induction stove top in australia.
Cannot get around hiring an electrician and it's just not worth it for me at this point.
Shipping
The delivery was extremely fast and the cooktop is easy to use.
Usps forces us to drive 20 miles to the po to return parcels, theyrefuse to pick up at the park mailroom even if they delivered!
I think the damage probably happened during shipment.
I immediately put in a return through amazon and chose a ups pickup then re-ordered another one.
Packaging/appearance
Duxtop a double sided pamphlet handled everything about the unit including safety and a card about duxtop cookware was in the box too.
The cuisinart pans say on their packaging that they are induction ready.
The nuwave came with a dvd with a watch before use thing and warning stickers to remove before use.

Duxtops squareness sold me on the duxtop brand over the others in its price range.
Otherwise up the price point a bit and the cuisinart pan in the pic works beautifully on it.

The noise is quite loud the machine is a bit thick the bottom of the pot heats unevenly and one side boils very slowly
