Pros & Cons
Pros
Does a pretty good job of vacuuming. It is realatively easy to clear the canister. I quickly vacuum the rooms where the cats hang around as well as the kitchen every day.
The battery lasts long enough to vacuum my whole 2000+ sf home on one charge. It's very quiet as well, and as for the battery i haven't run out of power yet. The only thing i might complain about is it is a little bulky in comparison to my previous co... Read More
Cons
It takes at least an hour to charge. The batteries are bottom of the barrel and generate a lot of heat. New battery still only last 5-8 mins after full charge. It basically has no battery left, works for 60 seconds on a full charge, and then stops.
Filter issues - finicky attachment that does and does not work. The battery is past warranty so i'm sol. Dyson doesn't warranty their batteries.
Do not recommend. They're all marketing hype.
It costs me about $5 every time i pick the thing up between the expensive consumables and it constantly failing on me. It seems like an excessive cost for what is billed as a revolutionary, cutting edge vacuum. I honestly feel robbed considering how e... Read More

Highlights
Quality
It’s easy to use -light weight, attachments are easy to change out and easy to empty
Great battery life, maneuverability, comes with the fluffy roller, and is excellent at picking up dirt and debris.
But the battery literally dies after 10-15 minutes of use.
Six months to a year after i have bought it, the replaced part or another part fails.
Price
For $600 not worth it, these other people writing amazing reviews used their vacuum for 5 minutes.
This machine is also almost $800 so be prepared to shell out a lot of cash for it.
About $50 to replace with an aftermarket battery.
Competitiveness
Tried the cheap competitors model, it broke within the first year and didn’t suck up anything but light dirt.
Compared with my miele now going on 12 years, the dyson costs me a fortune.
Because when i go and test out the competition, i prefer dyson.
