I keep it plugged in but due to a small hum from the converter box when active i just hit the yellow power kill switch when not in use

Once when i was at a hair salon as a first time customer to get a trim the stylist realized shed never get my hair dry in time for her next appointment so she recruited one of the other stylists to blow dry my hair with her one on each side of me blow drying simultaneously
