Pros

Everything is working great, my son's on his way to being mozart!

The casio converter is a must-have accessory for any casio keyboard. The cable from the converter plugs into the midi-in of your keyboard. It also plugs into your keyboard's midi port.

Cons

The cord itself is clearly defective. Something is shorted out in the circuit, rendering this useless. The midi plugs are also incredibly frail. Wasted hours of troubleshooting from daw app and device manager.

Received defective. Stopped functioning after less than 6 months of use. Not that it matters since now it's fried anyways.

I bought a usb midi which is around $5 usd.

I bought a $9 interface and it "worked" with a plug-and-play keyboard but barely.

Bit pricey but you get what you pay for.
