I read about using an upscaler and was happy to find this one at a good price.
Works good on my 55in smart tv.
There is no on/off button so this will be on all the time unless you plug it into a power-strip that you can just turn off.

The improvement of picture quality may just be in the brightness of the image but nevertheless it has a warmer feeling

I hooked up my dreamcast using the yellow video and redwhite audio plugs into the unit and hdmi coming out of the unit to my tv and bammmm there is was on my screen

Pacman was definitely pixelated and edgy but star wars rouge racer was smooth and blurry but then some other games were as expected for that time period and had a decent picture quality

It couldnt upscale at all and the picture was way too dark

But that might not even be a problem with the box it might just be how beta plays on modern tvs
