Cons

Epson invalidates 3rd party refilled cartridges. Because i usually purchase ink ahead of time now it’s too late for a refund. The differential isn't worth the headache.

Upon restarting the printer, the black cartridge was no longer recognized. The ink is fine but no longer compatible.

Very greedy as their ink is way more expensive.

Competitiveness

This ink is as good as the oem ink and the cartridges last longer too.

I get about 4 months out of the ez ink and five weeks out of the high-capacity, high-cost epson ones.

Back story: epson did a firmware upgrade that disabled non-epson branded cartridges.
