Pros & Cons
Pros
The canopy fabric is well made and sewn together quiet well. This tent is a little heavier than others, but that's because the frame has thicker metal pieces and the canopy itself is a heavier duty material.
This tent is definitely beefier, more sturdy, and easier to set up single-handedly. My buddies have these as well and they take them camping every year and have held up great. I use it in the tropics and after 3 years it still is in great shape.
The only downsides are weight and length for portability. The oversized wheels and wide wheelbase on the bag make up for it. Case rolls nicely and helps with the weight.
Cons
After about 6 uses in light winds, i noticed scrape marks on the inside of each the sidewalls of the canopy. The articulating frame rubs against the canopy fabric. The tent is not durable.
Highlights
Quality
This a sturdy tent and seems to be well made.
Really sturdy, durable locking mechanism, tough fabric.
They collapse and literally break in half.
The rolling bag was gray instead of lime green like the picturethis tent doesn’t have loops to hang a sign
Price
You do get what you pay for, as the ones i paid less than $100 for last one season.
After wasting $$ and time, plus cutting the other one up to throw it away, i get it.
Worth the extra money if you are going to use it more than a few times!
Shipping
Easy to transport in the case with wheels.
Just received this today and did an initial setup/takedown before it's first "official" use this weekend.
Packaging/appearance
Product was advertised to have tent spikes included but were not in my package.
From unpacking to fully installed took no more than 10 minutes.
3) when packed in the bag, it's about 1' longer than cheaper tents i've had.
Now that it’s up, i think we’ll find that strong young man to help packing it down later.
Competitiveness
" recommended this same model to another family member who was ready to upgrade from cheap big-box store canopies.
Ez up has the best tents out there.
I bought the cheaper off brand ez ups.
This ez up is far better but only a little more expensive.
