We have yet to use the bag for kayaking but it did amazing on our recent trip to cayman brac where we did 17 dives in 6 days.

I like the quality and it fulfilled my needs for packing valuables for being on the water.
The packaging on the phone case itself list or states it is not touch screen applicable.
