Highlights
Quality
Best sound quality and easy to use.
Solid construction that feels competent and comfortable when you hold it.
The slide does not stick and is silent, an upgrade from the first forefunner.
All 48 notes sound, and you can bend, something not possible with valves.
Price
5 stars may seem like a stretch for an inexpensive harp like this, but it is perfect at what it is.
Very affordable and the fact that there are no reeds is just delightful.
And on top of that it sounds like a very expensive harmonica.
What caught my attention first was the very economical price, offering great value without compromising on quality.
Packaging/appearance
Comes with a nice zippered cloth surface case that has an insert to protect the harmonica.
It comes in a nice case, and a cleaning cloth is included.
Competitiveness
I’m not an accomplished chromonica player but this one sounds better than a much more expensive hohner chromonica i own !
Some may only be familiar with hohner or maybe suzuki as excellent harmonica makers- open your mind a bit and pay attention to east top.
I found the sound to be a little thin, but that is in comparison to much more expensive instruments.
I got so excited about harmonicas that i bought five recommended ones, including two much more expensive ones than the forerunner 2.
