With that being said they left a cutout on the bottom so if you need to plug a cable straight into your phone that is still an option

There is a button on the side that you push and the pieces holding your phone just come apart

When you want to tighten the phone into the mount you just put your phone on and squeeze the side pieces together

Ive used several magnetic phone holders for my car but as phones get bigger the magnets cant seem to keep up

The locking collar is adjustable so once tightened down the phone wont flop forward under its own weight
