Pros
The scale is pretty and sleek. Accuracy is on-point!
This is our second purchase - prior one was at least 5 yrs ago and conked out after daily x2 use. Never had any problems. If they haven't cheapened anything about these scales, it is worth every penny.
It's very sleek and nice looking. The readout is easy to read even for 70 year old eyes! Easy to read screen. Easy to clean.
Cons
The price is nice on this, but looking back i wish i would've just spent a few more bucks on something a little nicer. No clue why the other reviews say otherwise, this thing is junk.
Will not calibrate, even after changing batteries. It only seems to be accurate to within 1 or 2 pounds, as sometimes i'll weigh myself - then again just to be sure, and my weight magically changes by a pound or 2. Constantly needs recalibration.

I found it to be very accurate and sturdily constructed.
It is well made with tempered glass and easy to read numbers.
After four years of owning the original scale, i picked it up and dropped it and it shattered after falling from a great height.
My first one worked perfectly for 6 years and then only failed because the batteries i put in leaked and corroded all the contacts.
Price
A terrific product at a bargain price.
If they haven't cheapened anything about these scales, it is worth every penny.

I went directly to website for a re-order and waited a month.
I needed one right away, so i borrow one from a friend while i waiting for this scale to arrive.
I called eatsmart and after sending some photos, they sent me a new scale.
Packaging/appearance
Plus it looks great in our bathroom!
Competitiveness
I feel that the scale is very accurate as my at home weights are very similar to my weight on doctors’ office scales.
We needed to replace a much older eatsmart scale which finally died and we're excited to see that we could get a new similar model.
Purchased a different more expensive scale which lasted 6 months.
