This aa and aaa and some other’s battery charger is very good quality.
Competitiveness
My amazonbasics rechargeable batteries charge perfectly fine with this charger.
I should have went with something that has an openable cover because it tends to collect the usual dust, etc.
I've since seen other posts from people who have had issues with amazon's 9v batteries.

This would be fine as is if it wasnt also a fire hazard when a battery is put into this slot the charger gets dangerously hot as in painful to touch which tells me something very wrong is going on inside

I would give 5 stars except it makes an annoying squealing sound from the power supply and chirps while charging the batteries so i have to unplug it when its not in use

Might just be my unit as i havent seen any others mention this likely just a vibrating coil or capacitor in the power supply

Seems that the culprit here may have been amazons batteries and not the charger itself

Now trying to figure out how i can get my money back for the two 9v batteries im obviously going to lose if i send this back
