Pros

They are a bit on the heavy side, but this provides a feeling of security on slippery or uneven pavement. The brown is a nice color, but a black option might be also desirable. Outstanding quality in fit and comfort.

The shoes that i bought are my fifth pair. They are well-made and i'm confident i'll get many years of use from them.

High padded collar makes a very comfortable heel fit. With thin socks, it fits perfectly, snugged. This is probably because my left foot is slightly larger (bunion) than my right.

Cons

The leather is stiff and not soft. The insoles are leather-skinned, but lack cushioning. The sole tread appears to have been replaced by granite. Lace eyelets press uncomfortably against top of foot.

The stitching started fraying within a year, now they are unusable. Great example of great products being turning into second rate knockoffs by the original manufacturer. Yes, my foolish for going back after the 1st pair.

Sorely (pun intended) disappointed. Too late for me to return these, so i'm out a substantial chunk of money.

After a couple of years of daily use, the stitching on the left toe box tends to unravel.

I continue to be impressed with the value offered by this company.

I had been waiting for them to go on sale.

A little pricey, but worth every penny especially if your feet hurt from a lesser shoe.
