Pros
These have a cushioned, sneaker-like feel. Most other hiking sandals feel more like a flip-flop. This feels like a foot * it climbs with ease and it's in a gladiator style.

Second pair of the ecco sandals, well built, comforable, long lasting, highly recommended.
I have loved the ecco sandals and shoes for many years - always comfortable and durable.
Those sandals never failed or wore out it was simply the velcro.
Sandals are worthless when they don't fit your foot correctly.
Price
Exactly what i want at a good price
The price is almost half as much as our local shoe stores !
They're not cheap but they are not cheap.
Competitiveness
Many sites that review sandals have consistently ranked these as amongst the best.
However, if you don't mind any of that, these are much better than the offerings from chaco, teva, and some of the other brands.

They are fairly heavy chunky dont have zero drop heel or even a particularly wide toe box
