Pros

The classic has a fabric insole, compared to the leather on the 7. It appears it would be a little water-repellant, but i haven't tested this out. This one is a keeper!

Ecco sport shoes have a break in period where socks are a must - takes a minute for the heel area to soften. My job involves long stretches of periodic standing and sitting. Well made classic shoe.

These run true to size, with the 39 fitting an 8-8. They fit me perfectly, but my feel are a little slim. The lace up style helps the fit work for me.

After many iterations of this show over the years, it is still very well-made. Good value for money and very comfortable.

Cons

The seam by the laces, sadly, separated, now deeming the shoe unwearable. Shame on ecco for misrepresenting the fabric makeup of the uppers.
