Pros

The amazon echo dot 5th gen is a versatile and convenient addition to your smart home setup. Built-in alexa and new motion sensors make it an excellent speaker.

Cons

Amazon needs to permanently fix the issue with all the 5th generation echo's or replace every single costumer. I have to unplug it and plug it back in twice a day to get it to work. It is constantly unresponsive, and my alarms never go off.

Now that it's outside of warranty, it seems destined for the trash, which is disappointing. Seems like cheap junk, i expect things to last longer. They're absolutely useless if you need information unless you wanna know something about world war two o... Read More

It's now totally unreliable. Now it’s completely dead.

Even my programmable thermostat (that can work with alexa) is significantly better. Amazon needs to fix this. Alexa is horrible.

I think for the price you can't beat this the sound is really good and it has an extra bass setting.
