Pros
Nice sound, with sweet tune. Crystal clear music. Other reviews complain about the sound quality.
Great for radio and information. Great for controlling the smart switches around the home. Portable, super easy to set up. I have them dotted round the house now.
The echo dot 5's design is sleek and modern. It can be used as a bluetooth speaker too, bargain. The only minor snag is that it requires a constant power source.
Cons
Can't play as requested, only with unwanted shuffling of (not similar) music. None of my alexa devices, including the echo dot, understand basic commands. These devices are set to expire after a year or so.
Three amazon bulbs are unresponsive. Even tried reserving mac address in router, and power cycling router, all to no avail.

Considering the size of the speaker, i think the sound quality is amazing.
The resulting audio quality was truly impressive.
Music quality is acceptable but if you want decent music player go for the bigger models.
Great sound quality but alexa is not as responsive and doesn’t function as quick as older versions.

Sound is excellent at a very low price.
Competitiveness
Works well with my hue lighting, much quicker than previous unit.

I wanted to stream the same amazon music simultaneously on both my echo dot devices but found it was simply not possible

Im concerned questions for alexa are sent out to the public to provide answers i hope someone checks them otherwise the knowledge base will end up as something you simply cant trust
