Pros
The mic sensitivity/logic seems comparable. Works well with blink cameras it will someone is at your doorbell. I believe this kind of replaces the echo flex which was a terrible sounding speaker.
This works fantastically and offers great value for a fair price. It’s clean design is simple and can easily blend in or stand out. Thanks amazon for another quality device and lower priced.
The sound quality is nearly on par with the echo plus 2, it has very clear highs and rich buttery mids, though it lacks punch in the bass. Sound is loud and not to vibration heavy which the higher volume levels.

The sound is worse than the 1st gen echo dot. There is no aux-out, so i cannot even connect it to a speaker that actually sounds good.

Need a platform similar to what i have for the dot - keeping it off my counter and safely out of the way.

I have not yet tried the echo studio but as far as the echo dots go none of them will ever give you the sound quality meaning the deep bass the high tone and the mid frequency that you may desire out of your music

My next main unit from amazon is definitely going to be to try the echo studio because i think for music purposes that is probably the unit i need
