Pros
The lights are dimmable through the app and also through a l e x a. Philips makes a hue dimmer switch that is compatible with these lights. No more complaining to my hubby that he didn't leave the lights on for me!
I'm really impressed by the versatility and the functionality of these bulbs. I am not very tech-savvy and these were no brainer. Comes with some double sided tape on the back of the plate so you can stick it almost anywhere.
It works great and the light comes on right when i press the button every time. If you turn the lights it is connected to on or off another way, through the app or with google home or alexa, the button may start responding again. The button works 9.
Cons
Ikea's bulbs do better job on this with a better price. They cannot be used in enclosed fixtures. The behavior is not at all consistent with intuition. It's also dead.

I had my doubts about these bulbs and system but was delighted with the end results.
My starter kit came with the hue bridge, three white ambience bulbs and a smart button switch.
This might only work with the button, though.
The app has a way to set the color temperature based on the time the light is turned on with the button but it is missing something.
Price
The price is what has kept me away from these for so long.
Shipping
I list the bridge needing a wired connection as a con too but it is what really helps it be so fast and lag free.

You have to leave the switches to the lights on if you want them to respond

You can turn your lights on and off through the app when youre not home

You can tell alexa to turn on any of the lights and also how bright by saying something like 34alexa turn on my bedroom light to 50

I had thought of getting smart bulbs but the price always turned me off because i dont like the traditional yellowish light 2700 k and every led light bulb that does 5000 k daylight or higher are always much more expensive than the traditional 2700 k led bulbs
