Pros
This thing is awesome. Setting up was a breeze. You name it, it does it! The best purchase.
The voice recognition is multitudes better than siri. It gives good reminders when something is due to arrive or informs her when they have arrived. Fun to play games on with friends, start my car, turn on my tv or xbox.
Cons
Amazon's keyboard is not customizable at all. No firmware or updates out yet to address these really bad flaws. Seems overly complicated and challenging.
When i play music or audible it randomly mutes itself. Multiple times a week, my echo show 8 goes totally mute (despite not being set to mute) hey restarting your device is not an acceptable fix for a known intermittent problem.
The ad ecosystem is excessive. I am stunned by the poor quality and won't make a purchase of amazon-branded product again without hands-on time to test it. Now for my slideshow, i see 2-3 pictures, then 2- 3 ads for amazon stuff.

The sound is very good, on par with the echo dot 5, and the vide quality is excellent for something in this price range.
This model is missing the sound quality.

Packaging was great - item arrived next morning.

Echo show is faster as long as screen is on but since i move it to the bedroom at night it would keep me awake so i have to tap screen and then tell it to show me front door

Still takes maybe 30 seconds for the camera view to stream but that’s because of the internet

Only thing i hate is the forced sponsored ads so screen is turned off unless needed
