Pros & Cons
Pros
There is a little peg that fits into the bracket which holds the rod. They are a definite upgrade from the flimsy, thin metal rods we had.
Cons
The "hard" ware this comes with is the cheapest and most flimsy items i’ve ever tried to use. It isn’t very good looking either and looks kind of cheep. Not super effective.
The screws are shorter than the length of the cylinder. Pins aren't even long enough to fit into the bars.
My last peeve is that the rod is flimsy. To the point the rod cannot be expanded. Look elsewhere for a wraparound rod. The rod doesn't actually fit into the mounting supports that makes this thing literally pointless.
Highlights
Quality
The tools provided for installation do not work well with dry wall, but that was my only downside to this product.
We have in our home 11 of the older version of this rod from home depot with the plastic hardware and love them!
I'd give it 6 stars if i cud 4 the price, quality, material, ease of use, etc.
They give the look of industrial with a sparkle ☺️they’re sturdy and come with the middle bracket.
Competitiveness
Incredibly easy to install - even easier than the more traditional bracket-and-rod design.

It wouldve minimized it a bit more though it may have looked a little funny hanging so close to the ceiling

I got it because my previous experience with hanging lightblocking curtains in other rooms of my house has had a bit of frustration with light leaking from the sides of the window requiring tacking the sides of the curtains against the wall which fixes the issue but i dont especially care for putting holes in my curtains or my walls when it can be avoided
