This machine performs as expected. If this starts happening, the fix is pretty easy & cheap. Will update if necessary. Hopefully it's an easy fix but there should be something about that setting in the manual.
I love it so much and would 100% buy it again if it ever dies. It's worth it for my needs.
This is one of the very few distillers that include a timer. The timer feature makes it simple to distill the same amount of water each time. The fans kick on right away and stay on to the end. I appreciate the auto shut off.
After a quick rinse distiller can be used again. I clean it after each cycle and find it easy to do. This removes all of the sediment. I use a soapy sponge wash it out and rinse.
The glass carafe fills up the entire glass filter chamber and i have years worth of filters for the cost of a couple orders of premade filters i could find online. When i wake up the glass distilled water catch jar is full and i pour that into my gall... Read More

It prevents the water from totally boiling out, and has made cleanup so much nicer, and greatly reduced mineral buildup.
The timer is very easy to set and it takes care of not letting the unit run dry.
After almost a year of use, mine ran into issue and would not turn on.
