Pros & Cons
Pros
Starter kit comes with mounting brackets, but when you buy single panels you will need to buy brackets separately. This solar panel outperforms the 100w rating.
I prefer mono-crystalline panels simply because i feel there is less opportunity for substrate failure. Very similar to a renogy but priced quite a bit better at this time.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to mount, produces a good enough charge and seems to be weather resistant.
They offer good performance and efficiency once cleaned, and their size is perfect for various off-grid applications.
I installed them this morning and later tonight severe storms with large hail and strong potential for tornados, so let’s see i... Read More
Standard solar fittings snapped right into my current setup.
Price
Still worth it’s price and quality in gold.
Great deals and the panels get about 80% of their rated wattage on any given day.
Pretty good for a panel costing less than $60.
About $140 in (panel, bracket kit, wire extension kit, and controller).
Shipping
I bought all the components through amazon, which of course were delivered ahead of time.
They shipped data with the product, including everything an engineer might need.
Packaging/appearance
Came with preattached junction box, cables and plugs to interface to adjacent panels
Ordered 8 panels, upon receiving them, two of the boxes where dinged up and torn.
Great packaging, 3 panels only 1 with sloppy caulk (panel 3).
I just wanted others to know to look for package damage and post if others are seeing the same.
Competitiveness
I compared these with other 100w panels i own and it is consistent 70-80w while the other brands are averaging 95w.
Convenient size, excellent price, and more amps than any other brand.
I did run a couple comparisons on the two brands.
The new panel generates 85w here in ohio in the winter, when pointed directly at the sun, which is better than the older panel's 75w.

They do work good though as i have four of them in parallel on my system which technically supports up to 600w for 12v but because i have a budget of 95 volts on my controller i can only get in x4 of these 100w panels in parallel because of the oc voltage of each panel
