Pros & Cons
Pros
My first foray into setting up a solar power system. Tested with fluke dmm in full april sun. Plan for this with a good sized battery to cover a couple of gloomy weeks.
Getting it as an amazon return. Good value. Good size for the money. Works perfectly. Arrived on time in good condition.
Cons
Free running voltage of the panel is 18v. W. In full perpendicular sun produces 147 milliamps through 150 ohms which is less than 3. I have no idea how they expect you to attach this to anything.
Highlights
Quality
Got this for charging 12 volt battery in my shed, good price and product 👍
Nice quality solar panel with a sturdy aluminium frame.
Price
My only complaint would be i had to create my own mount, but this wasnt too difficult and at this price i think its well worth it.
This was better than expected for the price.
Competitiveness
I am using it to charge a 12v 4ah battery, which i then use to power a 2w fan to provide ventilation for my shed.
Will defo buy more to add to my project.
10w it's enough to keep 7ah battery charged just over half.

Fine for feeding security lights so long as you regulate the supply correctly

If there is a small reverse discharge there is nothing to stop people putting a blocking diode in line

Current leakage will then be zero unless you connect the diode the wrong way round
