Pros
This is the third eco-worthy 410 gph pump i have purchased. I also wish the pump riser tubes were different lengths instead of all the same.
Cons
The shaft in the motor is composite and it broke. Quit pumping in less than 24 hrs. This warranty is worthless, because they'll just ignore you.
Highlights
Quality
Once a month clean the solar panel and take pump out of water for a good scrub down and you will be happy with its performance.
This pump was very easy to install and works great off power from my solar panel.
The first one worked reliably for 2 years, then it failed and the plastic shaft broke.
Dirty pond, ran dry lots of times, basically abused -- just purchased two more!
Price
It works very well and you cannot beat it for the price.

What i did not like was that the wires were furnished with sleeves clearly indicating the polarity

I was afraid trying it with 34incorrect34 hook up long enough to allow the pump to rev up

I first purchased the smaller 198gph model but my 12v setup did not have enough power to push the fountain 12
