Pros & Cons
Pros
Well pumps water into separate 250 gallon tanks which i use to water crops and livestock. Powered by one 300 watt solar panel directly connected to the pump. On 2 -100 watt solar panels facing east and west.
Love this little pump plan on buying another one. Body is stainless and seems to be a good material. Just shy of a home run in terms of quality.
Cons
With 2 100 watt solar panels, 30 watt controller and new 1000 ah agm battery thus pump drains the battery to a low voltage state unexpectedly over and over.
The pump runs and trips after about 10 minutes. Then it resets after some time. The warranty policy is as the total warranty period is one year. This stainless steel pump is all corroded and stopped working by june 4.
All the water inlets are corroded and dripping with rust too. Excessive current, foreign object debris, or misaligned brush contact.
Highlights
Quality
It works great and does not appear to have any parts that corrode in the pool water.
It works great, good pressure and has been reliable.
Failed after 2 months of use, burned up controller also when failed from amp load.
Just shy of a home run in terms of quality.
Price
Definitely worth the money for sure .
Great value for emergency use in my opinion.
75 gal/minute into my tote which is enough for me.
Shipping
The return was very quick and easy which was awesome.
Customer service was fast to reply and sent me a replacement right away.
Customer service has been way good and they took care of any problems with the pump fast and replaced.
Competitiveness
I used a 240w 36v solar panel, a cheap mppt controller off amazon, and a 12v deep cycle battery from walmart.
I had the another, cheaper eco worthy pump that lasted a couple years.
I have had more expensive solar pumps that did less gpm for 1k .
