The second issue, namely fixing the solar panel on to the mounting bracket using the wing nuts provided proved somewhat more problematic, the solar panel obviously needs angling to capture optimum rays from the sun but the mounting system isn't robust enough to hold to solar panel at the correct angle as some others have also commented.  Read Less
