It has even heat distribution but liquids like eggs flow out to the edges because there is a hump in the middle of the griddle

This hump causes liquids to cook quicker in the center so you need to continually stir them from the edges to the middle until they start to solidify

If this is an intentional design it needs to be rethought but if the griddle was flat when it was new then this is a defect that should be covered under the lifetime warranty

Furthermore there were witness marks on the griddle indicating that the screw was contacting the griddle
