I also have the medium size box cutter which i use a lot and the latch has already broken and wont slide back all the way

I noticed that when used this box cutter with the blade fully extended out it started to bend and also couldve broke

I have one tiny complaint that probably wont bother many people because of the way the metal sheath that holds the blades juts above the orange plastic handle and comes to a point like a blade does i have to look directly at it to make sure the blade is retracted before putting the cutter away

The one thing i do not like about this is there is no locking mechanism

I wish they had included a locking mechanism but if you use this for arts and crafts with no kids around then it wont bother you
