The only reason why i knock a star off of the overall rating is because the manufacturer ecr4kids has their company name in the product title

Personally i love them for when im cross stitching as i can pick them up snip a thread and go about working on the next color or another section but i can see where the fact that they dont automatically stay closed would be an issue for some people

I actually would consider them snips not long bladed scissors but they work well for most cutting or snipping jobs particularly things like snipping threads
