Pros & Cons
Pros
Both kids genuinely appreciate the extra independence they have due to this step stool. It is helpful in a toddler classroom. Perfect height for toddler independence.
All the parts are smooth and finished without splinters or rough edges that could hurt little hands. Keep at it, and don't tighten anything straightaway. It's very sturdy, and does not slip at all on our carpeted floor.
The handles give your little one something to hang on to and the sides keeps them from falling off the edges. Nice handles for avoiding falls. I like the handles and feel it is sturdy.
Stool is a lifesaver in the kitchen when you're baking with your babies. My daughter likes to sit on it to eat her oatmeal in the morning and it is really hard to get the oatmeal stains out.
Cons
The screw holes were not drilled properly. It seems as though a small child can merely shift their weight causing the steps to slide. To top it off its missing a screw.
Highlights
Quality
Very sturdy step stool for our 2 year old.
This is extremely sturdy (i am 200+ pounds and climbed on it after assembly to verify its sturdiness).
Had to drill one screw hole along with having to clamp the whole thing because of those misaligned dados.
The grip on this thing is like 10000 grit sandpaper.
Price
Great child step, with sides, for the money.
A bit pricey but my 3 year old loves it.
