Pros & Cons
Pros
They are durable, soft, very comfortable and have surprisingly few wrinkles for 100% cotton. I'm fairly confident that the tear occured at the factory and not due to shipping. These are so nice and comforting.
These eddie bauer sheets are perfect for all the long, snowy, cold winter nights. The design with evergreen trees and deer are vibrant and beautiful. The bears and trees design is also a great touch, adding a touch of nature to my bedroom decor.
They fit my thick mattress plus thick mattress pad, wonderfully. The one thing i will note is that they do have some pilling. The pilling isn't a big deal to me because the comfort totally outweighs that little problem!
The stitching is good, with end threads clipped.
Cons
Sleeping on these sheets will be so uncomfortable due to the amount of pilling. Pilling is horrendous. It's like pealing skin after a severe sunburn. They will not clothe you.
They are semi-soft. They are so comfy and warm, but within the week i'm already noticing pilling. How hard is it to make soft flannel? They’re too lightweight which wouldn’t be long lasting.

These are nice quality sheets and they wash well but they are sized small.
Price
These are well made sheets and the price was reasonable.
Competitiveness
I imagine it is getting expensive to source and/or produce genuinely robust, high-quality flannel.

This is my second set of flannel sheets from eddie bauer and i expect the same experience they are amazing through the first several wash and use cycles but the flannel wore out more quickly than i would have hoped especially on the fitted bottom sheet which started to become threadbare within 3 seasons
