Pros
The pockets inside are large enough to fit gloves or a beanie. Obviously layering changes that as well.
The only complaint i have is that it doesn't breathe (as it is fully windproof) and so i tend to sweat in it, as opposed to something like a fleece. It isn’t super warm but it’s adequate down to temps in the teens for short time spans. I live above 40... Read More
Bought for my teenage son, 6'2 / 215. Got an xlg. Fits great on me, so sizing is accurate.
They have the same price as the eddie bauer outlet store but sam's has it for about 1/3 the cost! Live and learn with amazon. I believe it’s perfect for that. I think that the price is right for a jacket of this quality.
The dusty denim has an interesting pattern that is very subtle and is bluer than my photo shows. Love the styling, classic.
Cons
The dockers packable jacket is the same (except without a hood) that is made with more durable material and only cost $40. There are a numerous tiny feathers coming out of this jacket which is embarrassing. I have hoodies that are warmer than this.

Yes, you have to be careful with the zipper, but for the price it's worth it.
Whole thing is very lightweight and comfortable — i love this jacket, especially for the deal i got it for!
However, i was bugged by the fact that no reviews showed the jacket: 1) “packed” into itself or 2) with the hood on!
I do wish it havd a drawstring on the hood and at the bottem for better adjustment.
Price
I think that the price is right for a jacket of this quality.
But that's the price you pay for fully windproof and warm.
But that would probably have to change the price.

I live in the midwest so the shipping was super fast, as it shipped out of wisconsin.
Competitiveness
I’m 5’10” and 240lbs and an xl regular fits very well with a t-shirt and dress shirt.
The sleeves a comfortable length, no need to shorten, which i usually have to do on an xl or xxl like for the brand wantdo.
