Pros
A few small feather quills sticking through the material - not a problem. Best imho is the great crush factor.
Cons
The quality is just not there. Total dishonest description/marketing. No response from either amazon or the seller. The kicker is yet to eddie bauer makes you pay postage to return this *, and useless product.
There are loose threads that are unraveling throughout the coast's stitching. The product is as thin as a slice of bread and does not provide any warmth. After a few days of wearing, it's pouring down feathers from every seam.
The jacket sheds a lot of feathers. It smells like rotten eggs!
The only label on the jacket says it is 100% polyester shell, lining and padding. The external fabric is very very very thin, very much like a garbage sack, but of course more parachute like than plastic. The material is paper thin also.

Fits great and the price was more than right!
Love this jacket, but i was appalled to learn i could have gotten it at sam's club for half the price i paid through amazon.
Competitiveness
Too late to return so i just wear a thermal under a t-shirt when it's a little chilly.

Some down is coming out occasionally at the front seam as the sharp shaft pokes thru but is minor at present

Quality seems good so far but i would not want to rely on this to keep me warm if i were trying to get work done around the house or going bushwacking as the material seems delicate enough that those activities would like damage the jacket
