Bought 4 pairs of these for my brother. The only complaint he has is he wished they came in black too.

These are very light and will pack into a miniscule ball in my suitcase. They repel water in light rain, never tested in a really heavy downpour. I live in the tropics and they are perfect.

There is a zippered pocket on the right thigh that runs vertical which he likes for his keys. The right thigh pocket is where i kept my wallet.

Cons

The thought of having to go through this multiple times to find a pair that fits like the others seems maddening. I'm not sure if it's inconsistencies in the making of the pants themselves though, because they came in an eddie bauer bag.
