Pros

These are comfortable and good quality, no qc issues. The fit is comfortable, snug but not tight in all the right places. On the other hand, this snug feeling isn't as comfortable as it could be when just lounging around in a restaurant.

These eddie bauer hiking boots are well made, comfortable to wear and stylish as well. I like the coloring of the boots and the fact that they are waterproof.

These are about half the price of the moab 2s. They are a quality all around boot at a good price. And they feel very capably made of quality materials.

They laces stay nice and tight and don't come untied. It is possible to lace them a little more loosely for wearing thicker socks or two pairs of socks. There's room for adding insoles if more comfort is needed.

Cons

My husband cautioned me not to buy the boots, and i assured him i'd get at least 2 years of wear out of them. Poor quality, and boots are now useless after 1 month. Definitely was not going to be able to go hiking with them.

I wouldn't recommend for heavy pack but these are perfect for all around trail shoes and moderate hikes or even light pack.
