It is possible to lace them a little more loosely for wearing thicker socks or two pairs of socks. They are easy to lace up. There's room for adding insoles if more comfort is needed.

These are about half the price of the moab 2s. They feel very capably made of quality materials. They color is lighter than advertised, which they actually look better.

Cons

The boots are now useless after 1 month. I am disappointed that they didn't last longer, especially because my husband cautioned me not to buy the boots, and i assured him i'd get at least 2 years of wear out of them.

I compare these to merrel moab 2s.

They won’t be as warm as something with thinsulate in it, but they are also priced much lower than most of those.
