I returned those and got the next size down and am very happy with the results.
I loved the quality of these, very warm and well made, but a size 12 turned out too large for me.

Now i wear them with only enough time out to throw into the washer and dryer.
Competitiveness
All eddie bauer products are a bit bigger than other brands but not enough to order a size down.
I soon got over that wheni wore them and found out how comfortable they were.

Note that they are very slim at the ankle which works fine for me but for people with larger feet or ankles it might be hard to pull them on
