It has a sturdy zipper as well as snaps. Conservative, not sloppy looking.
Eddie bauer is terrific. Already getting plenty of use from this here in the pnw. It is very well made, with a lot of attention to detail.

This was a good buy and i am most happy with the result.
I am very happy with the fit, the way it looks on me, and the excellent way it performs.
Otherwise i am thrilled with the coat.
I need a jacket that is truly waterproof for the pnw winters.

Ordered a different style of the eddie bauer raincoat on clearance in medium hoping it might fit because the price was great.
