They are thick so i wear them for colder hikes. They are slightly thicker than regular yoga or barre leggings, so they're great for outdoor running. This 61 year old that hikes daily 5-10 miles is a happy camper.
The length actually covers my ankles, (32 inseam) where many others do not. It's stretchy like a legging should be, but is very sturdy.
Cons
Not really for hiking. I'm fairly certain that these are not eddie bauer, but a knock-off. I also doubt they are upf 50, as the weave of the fabric is loose.
The waist goes up to just under my breasts and the legs are still way too long. The waist and thighs are extremely loose but the calves are snug.

I love how the feel how they look on the legs but the waistband stretches out so quickly and i have to pull it up constantly
