Pros & Cons
Pros
The mr4’s sound is exactly what you want from quality monitor detailed, controlled, and flat. The treble is smooth and articulate without being exaggerated or fatiguing. High notes are crisp. The sound quality is actually awesome.
The mr4 powered studio monitor speakers are a small inexpensive powered speaker for your basement studio. The bass is impressive for such a small woofer, and the rear ports don't chuff even at fairly high volume.
The veneered mdf and plastic face plate transitions are seamless and look great. I am very happy with this, my stepson is even happier.
They're small but mighty, stylish and sound very good.
Composite material makes these speakers more punchy. Great workmanship on them, too. They appear to be strongand durable.

These don’t work very well with the 3.
I paired them with a white turntable and i am surprised with the quality of the music i could get.
Price
Overall, for the price, i can’t find much to complain about.
The sound is pretty clear and has good integrity but the price is a little high in my opinion.
Overall i really like the value here, the price is good for what you get, but i think if it was more expensive it would still make sense.
