Pros

The piano black and matte black look is very clean. It is a very small flat rectangle and is almost identical to the one i have for an old cambridge soundworks cd 740, which is from the 90's. Really impressed with big sound from small package.

Edifier rivals bose, in my opinion. Thankfully, the treble and bass adjustments are not drastic. Add a bic 500w sub and the sound is mind-blowing.

Cons

Altec lansing speakers sound much better than this $200 piece of junk. An extra 100-150 dollars would be insignificant compared to a 200 dollar speaker. Spent a little more & try to buy 3 way speakers. Learned that $220 later.

Sound reproduction is anemic at best. The constant loud popping really wears on you after a while. After 6 months a loud buzz/hum developed. It’s completely destroys the sound.

They are middle of the road hum-drum, bland, boring and uninspired. Muddy midrange. But vocal is muddled and distance. I'm sort of surprised at how well reviewed these speakers are. But in the loudness war / bass inflation era, maybe a lot of the kids... Read More

The sound frequencies feel so uneven, tilted toward highs and treble. The sounds is tinny and the bass is so-so. The bass on these, despite having an adjustable knob, is non existent.

I like a good comp speaker, but hands down for the price these were amazing!

Can’t recommend these highly enough, especially at $200 or less.

They sound like a $2,000 audiophile set!
