The drivers don't have the quick response times of dynamic drivers, they can't be used for anc.
Price
These headphones are expensive, but absolutely worth the money given their excellent planar magnetic drivers and build quality.
In my opinion these are the only headphones on the market that are actually giving you what you pay for.
I know they are expensive, but if you have the budget for them, these are a no-brainer.
At this price point i don't want to risk them hitting the floor.
Competitiveness
Planar headphones from hifiman and other competitors are priced lower, but they also don't have the latest bluetooth.
I know that these types of headphones delivery much better sound than the earbuds so i can't compare them.

Just headphones with whatever you feed them

The reason for that is quite simple…the way the physics of the planar drivers work which provide pristine audio replication introducing anc would ruin the sound quality and cause imperfect timing with audio distortion

But that’s ok because when you try these you realize they pretty much block out and loud sounds just by the nature of their design
