Pros & Cons
Pros
Edifier's w820nb plus over-ear active noise cancelling headphones are in a league of their own when it comes to noise cancellation and sound quality. The noise cancellation is very, very good. The active noise-canceling feature works like a charm.
Pairing the bluetooth is really simple following the instruction booklet. They have on/off, volume up/dn, and bluetooth/ambient sound *. Each button is well spaced and clearly labeled including with tactile markings.
Edifier is a quality brand that's established in 1996. You can use the android/iphone app to control its eq. It won't break your wallet like other brand-name versions.
My one main concern is the durability of these cans.
I have a pair of gaming headphones that came with the faux (or real? Headphones. They are really very nice and certainly competitive with headphones costing a lot more.
Cons
Default equalizer settings aren't great if you like bass. There's only four equalizer presets with no way to just disable the equalizer entirely. The cushions are comfortable, but not for long sessions since after just two hours i was ready to take th... Read More

Competitiveness
They work just as good as the top brands.
They are really very nice and certainly competitive with headphones costing a lot more.
In this comparison i'm ranking them against the sony wh1000xm3, the samsung galaxy buds pro (not the pro2) and the edifier w820nb plus.
I've seen other edifier products on the market, specifically their bookshelf speakers.

The ear cups have a memory foam covered in a side leather like material

I am a bit concerned about how they will hold up since the materials dont feel quite as sturdy as i would like at the hinges not flimsy but not very solid either

I got this headphone to try out after my wired bose quietcomfort 25 starting acting up and wanted to test out a wireless one

I like that the edifier logo is small and just appears on both sides of band right above the earmuffs

The headphone is comfortable to wear and the padding on the band doesnt make the top of my head hurt good thing for the padding since then it would just be hard plastic on the top of your head

The earmuffs actually cover my big ears entirely so my ears sit inside the earmuffs
