Pros & Cons
Pros
This is definitely a classroom must. Great visual and kinesthetic approach for fraction equivalencies. Great for teaching and quizzes for kids is great too!
Fun game for my bright four year old not sure about entertaining older children with the rules provided. My third graders ask for this game anytime they have the opportunity!
Fraction formula definitely meets these three criteria. This game is fantastic for introducing fractions! Great games for fractions.
Students build a wonderful sense of how denominator size relates to piece size. Use the visual to talk about why one is greater then another. This forces them to find equivalent fractions.
Highlights
Quality
High quality, great colors for simplified learning.
It's fun to play around and experiment with the fraction pieces to get a concrete feel and understanding of fractions.
I also got my family to have a little bit of fun with the game.
My six year old son even enjoyed playing with the game pieces on his own!
Packaging/appearance
) this set was received new (all shrinkwrap & other plastic packaging was sealed as new).
My only complaint is that one of the 1/4 pieces was missing the top straight out of the box.
