Pros & Cons
Pros
Colorful, fun, versatile enough and durable. As they slip in the slides it tells you information and quizzes you. Very educational but still cute and quirky enough to keep a kids attention.
This is more of a practice microscope, which is what you would want in the first place for small kiddos. It has multiple volume controls and all of the slides stay neat in the little tray that clicks into the microscope.
My son is 5 and it took him awhile to learn how to get them in properly. My 4 1/2 yo grandson really enjoys this.
Cons
The toy is cute, but it's really not a microscope. If the slide on the stage cannot be ‘read’, the facts & questions cannot be selected. The magnification on this toy does nothing more than a rudimentary magnifying glass.
I have no idea why this product is so highly rated. It is disappointing to say the least. A disappointment in all ways. It’s a gift, so very disappointed.

Price
Worth the money if your child loves to learn.
Packaging/appearance
I watched him open the box, wondering if he would like it since it wasn't a ball or something with wheels.

As the voice of the toy her high young tone has an excited childlike quality so my child completely took to this as playing with a fun friend rather than being asked to sit still or learn something
