Pros
My grandson, who is 4 years old, absolutely loves this toy. Look forward to purchasing geosafari toys for his birthday and other events. The detachable string is great, he can't get hung up on it.
Each slide prompts the microscope to discuss facts about the subject. The slides are sturdy plastic so are virtually unbreakable.
Loved the educational aspect for budding scientists. The interactive game and facts are really cool. Overall, this is epic.
I wish it had an adjustable knob to zoom in and out. It is possible to set either to spanish or english, we use both languages at home. Because it tests the patience of nearby adults.
Cons
It is disappointing to say the least. Incredibly frustrating. Name is very misleading. Disappointing birthday gift.
Omg, the repetition on this thing is annoying. Also it is so loud. Little things like this annoy the heck out of me. Not if we make it so annoying they smash it into tiny pieces first.

We loved the sturdy, bright colored plastic design, and larger features that are easy for little hands
It was awesome for 6 month but after that the battery holder rusted and couldn't hold battery any more
Once a child knows all those information and have seen the slides a dozen times, it gets sidelined fast.
Price
Worth the money if your child loves to learn.

I watched him open the box, wondering if he would like it since it wasn't a ball or something with wheels.

My son enjoyed looking at the slides but i wish there were more variety in what we are looking at instead of three of the same on each slide

The drawer that the slides are stored in sometimes causes problems by sticking or coming out and has spilled a couple of times
